Why no operator?
Because an operator is a single point of failure, a custodian, and a capture target. Commons Pool eliminates all three by design.
How do I connect?
Point a Stratum V2 miner at signet.commonspool.org:3334. Username is your Bitcoin address. Password can be x. Job declaration on. Signet only. Not live on mainnet.
How do I get paid?
Directly from the coinbase output of every block the pool finds. Your address, your funds, no withdrawal step. PPLNS over the last finalized snapshot. Fee is 1%.
Do I need to KYC?
No. Your identity is a secp256k1 keypair.
Who ships Commons Pool?
BTCDecoded. Commons Pool is a BTCDecoded project. Spec, node, and governance live under that org. btcdecoded.org
What is Bitcoin Commons?

What is signet?
Bitcoin's test network. The status page is test data. Not a live pool. Not mainnet.
